Quinta Das Pedras provides a quiet, private - but not isolated - holiday home to enjoy either a peaceful break, or a more active sporting one. The surrounding countryside is very pretty and peaceful and has much of interest. The pool and gardens are so attractive that some clients seem rarely to leave them!

Sao Bras is 5 miles away and has a market, shops, cafes and banks. The beach can be reached in 15 minutes or so by car. As well as the vast sandy beaches for which the Algarve is renowned, the coastal area has numerous golf courses and excellent tennis facilities. Water sports are also available. All sports are available on a daily basis to visitors and memberships are not required. There are some fourteen 18-hole golf courses within 20 miles of Pedras together with a number of 9-hole and putting facilities. Shopping is quite easy - a local mini-market is just a few minutes down the road from the house and stocks everyday essentials. There are bigger supermarkets within easy distance.

The inland São Brás area has many interesting restaurants towards the coast. They vary from simple and inexpensive to more elaborate, according to taste. The beach itself has several cabana type eating places virtually on the edge of the shore for a leisurely mid-day lunch watching the sea break just a few yards away. It is an experience not to be missed.

The winter climate in the Algarve is a perfect break from our cold and gloom and golf can be played practically every day. There is a wood burning stove in the lounge. (Please enquire for winter lets at reduced rates).

There is a maid service and baby-sitting can usually be arranged direct with her. The House Manager (English) will visit you to assist and ensure your holiday is enjoyable.
